Near human food and water; hide in dark crevices - forage for food and water at night, common in kitchens.

Practically any human food, particularly if fermenting.

Life Stages

1 egg case every 1-2 months, 24-48 eggs in capsule; 28 days to hatch. Carries egg case until 24 hours before hatching; if sprayed prior to this drops egg case which usually does not hatch. Adults live about 180 days.
